Position Title:  Maintenance Worker/Custodian

Location: District Operations

Salary Range: Based on District Compensation Plan and Experience

Length of Work Year: To be discussed at time of employment.

 

Position Requirements

Education/Certification/License:

     Clear and valid Texas driver’s license required for maintenance position. 

Experience:

     Experience recommended but not required.

      

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  Ability to follow instructions.

  Knowledge routine maintenance and repair procedures.

  Ability to communicate effectively (verbally).

  Ability to operate appropriate tools.

  Ability to work independently.

          

 Duties/Responsibilities:

 

Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties,

Correct unsafe conditions in work area and promptly report any conditions that are not immediately correctable to supervisor.

Maintain tools and equipment and perform preventive maintenance as required.
